McLaren MP4-12C
The most exciting comeback of 2010 comes courtesy of McLaren. In its first road car project since the F1, the Woking firm will introduce the MP4-12C to rival the established supercar elite. As our world exclusive Top Story this week explains, the Brit makes use of state-of-the-art racing technology. The
12C is the first production car with a lightweight carbon fibre monocoque, which tips the scales at only 80kg.

The newcomer is powered by a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8, and while bosses have still to confirm exact performance figures, the MP4-12C should do 0-60mph in 3.5 seconds and 200mph thanks to its featherweight construction. It will sell for around £150,000.
