Renaultsport Megane 250
the French flier is giving the Ford Focus RS a headache! Renault has taken a mature approach to its hottest hatch this time around, with more subtle styling and a high quality cabin, compared to the previous hot Mégane.

But if you can put up with the bone-shaking ride, the track-focused Cup version, can be ordered with less creature comforts to save weight, plus stiffer suspension and a limited-slip diff. Star of the show in both cars, though, will be the revised 2.0-litre turbo, with 247bhp and 340Nm of torque.

Renault Megane C-C
new Coupé-Cabriolet had been due to debut at last September’s Frankfurt Motor Show, but was delayed as Renault only wanted electric cars at the expo. Although it gets the same nose as the latest Mégane Coupé, the rear deck is stretched to accommodate the folding metal roof. All will be revealed in June – just in time for some summer sunshine.
