Experts claim alloy wheels 

are among the most desirable extras, as they really boost kerb appeal. Most makers provide 

a feast of designs – but our advice is to exercise caution. 

While upgrading from plastic trims to alloys makes sense, it’s less cost effective to specify 

different rim designs. Steer clear of aftermarket alloys (or keep the originals if you do), and bear in mind that large rims can hamper ride comfort.
