Limited edition Lotus Exige 360 Cup gets performance tweaks

New lightweight panels and a power boost mean this V6 Lotus Exige 360 Cup is faster than ever - but it costs £62,995

Lotus has introduced a special version of its Exige V6 Cup. Confusingly called the 360 Cup, the new Lotus gets a new body panels and a power hike.

The 3.5-litre supercharged V6 now packs an extra 10bhp to produce 355bhp with freer flowing induction and a sports exhaust system. A new, lighter front clamshell panel, rear tailgate and louvered panel make up the new body parts, and the 360 Cup gets new grooved brake discs for improved performance, Motorsport Red wheels, embroidered seats and dash panel.

Lotus SUV confirmed for 2019

A suite of options including a new red Alcantara interior, adjustable anti-roll bars, Öhlins race dampers, fire extinguisher and electrical cut-off, FIA carbon seats, air conditioning and removable steering wheel are also available.

Aside from the new equipment, the 360 Cup gets the same front splitter, rear diffuser and mad rear wing from the Exige V6 Cup. And just like the V6 Cup, the new model gets double wishbone suspension all round and a four—way drive mode and launch control.

Only four colours are on offer – white, grey, black and silver metallics – and production is limited to just 50. All cars get a numbered plaque and prices starting at £62,995.
