It seems Mercedes can’t fail when it comes to the S-Class. With the smaller-capacity diesel and hybrid motor, the S300 is as refined and accomplished as any of its six, eight or 12-cylinder stablemates. If running costs are key, the S300 BlueTEC Hybrid is a fine option.
