The Peugeot Boxer panel van has been updated with the new range of Euro6 compliant BlueHDi diesel engines that give combined cycle fuel economy of up to 47mpg. Emissions of CO2 are cut by as much as 30g/km to 154g/km in the same mid-range version.

The BlueHDi technology, first seen in the company's SUV and saloon cars, also means an increase in both power and acceleration for the Boxer van. Power increases to 110hp for the entry-level engine, going up to 160hp - an increase of 10hp - for the highest powered unit in the Boxer range.

0-62mph acceleration and in-gear acceleration is improved by up to 4.0 seconds for the 110 hp version. Meanwhile, 50-80mph acceleration sees an improvement of up 8.0 seconds. The engines will be paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox and Stop & Start technology is available across the range.
