Volvo Business Editions

Well equipped editions of the Volvo S60, V60 and V70 aim to offer better value for business users

Volvo has announced a trio of Business Edition models, aimed specifically at company car buyers. Offered on the S60, V60 and V70, the new trim level replaces ES and ES Nav in the line-up, but costs up to £3,000 less, which reduces a driver's annual BIK tax liability.

In addition to the standard kit on an ES model, the Business Edition adds "company car must-haves" such as sat-nav, a high-performance audio system, Bluetooth and rear parking sensors.

Available to order now, the S60 Business Edition starts from £19,995 for the 148bhp T3 version and from £21,195 for the equivalent V60; both represent a £3,000 reduction compared to the outgoing ES versions.

The V70 D2 Powershift Business Edition starts from £24,995, which is a £2,925 saving on the ES model.

Volvo National Corporate Operations Manager Selwyn Cooper explained the new model: "The business community is vitally important to us at Volvo, particularly as we have seen an increase of nearly a third (32 per cent) of business users funding a Volvo through our contract hire and leasing facilities in the first six months of this year."
