As we’ve come to expect from Alpine, this budget unit blends good looks and ease of use. Sound was rich and deep, with text displayed on standard CDs. The MP3/WMA disc played well, and the four channel line-outs (left, right, front, rear) are joined by aux-in for our iPod. Good price for an Alpine, but still more than £20 up on our Best Buy, so this is our Recommended budget choice.
