Mio Navman Panoramic

Price: £150 Contact: 0871 277 0139, eu.mio.com

Huge seven-inch widescreen is colourful and simple to use on the move, and you’ll quickly get the hang of the menus. However, the mount is wobbly and hard to position, and you’ll struggle to fix the device in a sensible location due to its size. There are Euro maps, but you don’t even get TMC traffic, let alone live notifications. The touchscreen isn’t as responsive as the 1695’s, the maps aren’t as easy to understand as the Garmins’ and the build quality can’t match our winner’s.
