We love the Laser’s large analogue dial – it’s unique in this test and really easy to read. There are black markings on a white face, with red, yellow and green bands to provide an at-a-glance idea of how much tread is left. However, the Laser was let down on price – it costs twice as much as our favourite analogue gauge. And although you get a plastic storage sleeve for your money, the device is quite bulky.
