As with our runner-up, there are Alite-built bulbs in this Halfords pack. They have the same black tip and boast 50 per cent extra light, which makes the high price hard to understand. Even at the current buy-one-get-one-free offer, they still look expensive. Consistency wasn’t quite as good as the Ring pair and the glare cut-off fuzzy on one. But there was decent penetration at 75 metres.
