Meguiar’s Gold Class Bug and Tar Remover

While most rivals have opted for glass cleaner-style bug removers, US favourite Meguiar’s has stuck with its formula, which is more like a liquid polish

Overall Auto Express rating

3.0

Best price: £10 | Size: 473ml

While most rivals have opted for glass cleaner-style bug removers, US favourite Meguiar’s has stuck with its formula, which is more like a liquid polish. On flat panels, the viscous solution worked well and clung like few others, with virtually no run-off. It cleaned well, but the thick, white liquid isn’t the easiest to use, as it has a tendency to stick to some surfaces and needs to be carefully removed from grilles and such trim. Plus, at £10, this is the most expensive option here.
