Alongside some of the pricier, specialised options, this Muc-Off looks a bit ordinary. But no rival works as well. The handle is great to grip and easy to manoeuvre to tackle different parts of the rim. It’s also longer than most to reach the furthest part of the inner rim. Stiff twin loops allow plenty of pressure to be applied. And while it couldn’t get through the narrow gap in our wheel, it worked well on the face and bolt holes.
