MP3s, memory cards and aux sockets make most CD slots redundant nowadays, but this holder ensures they’ll still have a use. The product slips neatly into the slot and a lever locks it into place. The holder was among the easiest to fit and move on test, and securing the phone in place was simple, too; a button releases the arms, allowing the handset to be placed on the foldaway bracket at the base, before closing round the phone to keep it in place. It was stable and gripped all of our test mobiles, plus the ball-and-socket mount gave plenty of adjustment.
