Bentley Continental GT Speed gets more power and bold new Black Edition

The Continental GT Speed is the fastest production Bentley ever. Now power is up to 633bhp and there's a new Black Edition

The Bentley Continental GT Speed has been updated, with the latest version of Bentley's fastest car getting a power boost to 633bhp (up from 626bhp) and a top speed of 206mph.

There's also 20Nm more torque for the GT Speed's 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12 engine, with a maximum output of 840Nm on tap, while the 0-60mph time has dropped to 3.9 seconds. That crushing maximum torque figure is delivered from 2,000rpm right up to 5,000rpm as well, giving the GT Speed a very wide power band for even more effortless performance.

As well as the standard GT Speed you can now get a Black Edition version, which adds a number of visual changes to make the car stand from the crowd. It's available as a coupe or convertible and features a glossy black finish for some of the exterior trim, plus 21-inch alloy wheels which hide a choice of red or black brake calipers beneath.

The Bentley Continental GT Speed Black Edition is also available with contrasting colours for the door mirrors, front splitter, side skirts and rear diffuser, including one shade called Cyber Yellow. This contrasting colour can be continued inside on the seats and centre console, and there's contrast stitching and carbon fibre detailing to complete the new look.

The new Continental GT Speed is available now, with orders arriving in the summer. The standard GT Speed will cost from £168,900, with the Black Edition retailing from £176,900.
