Three-car garage: used Toyota Aygo, Kia EV6, and MG Cyberster for £46k
It’s time to enjoy some summertime motoring with the MG Cyberster, Kia EV6 and Toyota Aygo X

We’re deep into summertime, and have more hours to enjoy the sunshine, so you might think about getting a car to make the most of it.
Various bodystyles and clever technology mean that there are lots of ways, from expansive glass sunroofs to nifty canvas tops, to enjoy the fine weather while you’re driving.
You don’t need to compromise in terms of space, powertrains or price, either, because we’ve found three cars that complement each other, while giving you a chance to work on your tan.
MG Cyberster - £39,549

Pure-electric convertibles haven’t really taken off just yet, and it’s hard to understand why, because they are fascinating to drive.
For some, the lack of a characterful engine in a convertible might feel odd, but the silent motor is an experience.
Given that the electric folding roof opens and closes in 15 seconds at up to 30mph, the MG Cyberster is ready-made for sudden summertime downpours.
The single-motor version comes with 316 miles of range, but we’ve gone for a dual-motor version with just 11,500 miles on the clock, although the extra motor limits range to 276 miles.
If the MG Cyberster doesn’t have enough seats for you, check out other used convertibles through Auto Express’s network of trusted dealers.
Kia EV6 GT-Line S - £20,300

If you want to enjoy the sun without the buffeting of wind, the Kia EV6 promises to be the perfect answer. In GT-Line S trim, it gets an ultra-wide sunroof that comes with a tilt-and-open function.
The EV6’s comfortable ride, electric range of more than 300 miles and excellent refinement make it a fine summer vehicle. This is the GT-Line S version, which has a heated steering wheel, a head-up display and a 360-degree camera as well as an upgraded 14-speaker sound system.
The mileage is high at just under 70,000 miles considering this EV6 is only three years old, but it does show how capable this electric Kia is at utilising that impressive range.

Toyota Aygo X Air Edition - £13,568

As the name suggests, the Air Edition of the Toyota Aygo X gives you, well, air. It has a canvas roof folds behind the heads of the rear passengers in just 10 seconds.
Just because it’s small doesn’t mean the Aygo X Air Edition skimps on kit. There’s a touchscreen (albeit a fairly small eight-inch unit), a voice recognition system, cruise control and even a reversing camera. The example we found is almost box-fresh, having done less than 12,000 miles from new.
