Argos Super Deluxe Car Mats

Price: £14.99

Although they were quite cheap compared with some of their rivals here, catalogue king Argos’s products actually looked quite smart, with contrasting edging and a neat logo in the heel pad. Things went downhill from there, though, as they scored low marks almost everywhere. Most of our stain came out, but the kit finished last in our wear test, and the nodules on the underside weren’t up to the job of keeping the mat in place. The driver’s side baulked on the accelerator and the rears were too small.
