Peugeot 5008
We drive the new people carrier this issue, ahead of its on-sale date in January. And it impressed us with its ability to carry seven people and luggage in comfort, thanks to a refined driving experience and quality cabin. Gone is the gaping grille and oversized snout seen on recent new Peugeots, replaced
by more subtle features. There’s even some design flair, with a chrome shoulder line that flicks up towards the rear and blends with wraparound LED tail-lights.
Peugeot RC Z
Can this new sports coupé do for Peugeot what its CC did for the coupé-convertible market? Time will tell, but the RC Z certainly looks unmistakable, with its sporty styling and ‘double-bubble’ roof.
A 2+2 layout means the rear is strictly for small children, as in the car it closely resembles: the Audi TT. And as with the German coupé, the seats can be folded flat for more boot space. The RC Z will be powered by the 200bhp 1.6-litre turbocharged engine from the MINI JCW, while a 156bhp detuned version of the same unit will be offered when the Peugeot goes on sale in April.
