Range Rover Evoque

All-new Range Rover sets new standards to become our grand champion

Range Rover Evoque

Why it won...

Few cars will attract as much attention in the year ahead as the stunning Range Rover. You only have to look at its pumped-up bodywork and concept car styling to see why the firm already has a bulging order book. And the Evoque’s appeal goes far beyond its distinctive appearance.

Two and four-wheel-drive variants ensure low emissions and trademark Range Rover off-road ability respectively, while the latest diesels promise strong performance. Best of all, the Evoque is still a practical family car, with room for five adults and a decent boot.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and you can expect a number of rivals to challenge this hugely desirable machine in the years ahead. Companies that are willing to take risks reap the rewards, and the Evoque looks set to provide Land Rover with plenty of them…
