Deal of the Day: classy Renault Captur hybrid SUV for £94 a month

The deposit is a hefty £10,000 but it gets you a hybrid Captur on a PCP with super-low monthly payments.

Renault Captur E-Tech - front tracking
  • Only £94 per month on 0% APR
  • Big £10,148 deposit required
  • Give the car back after two years, or pay £16,500 to own it

We love the Renault Captur. Even in the intensely crowded small SUV segment it stands out with its smart design, practical interior and comfortable driving experience. It stands out even more at the moment because Renault is offering a tempting set of 0 per cent APR finance deals that could see you pay as little as £94 a month to put the car on your driveway.

Unlike leasing deals, Personal Contract Purchase (PCP) finance gives you the option of owning the car at the end of the contract. Because you’re actually paying off the price of the car over the course of the deal, that can mean higher monthly payments, but not if you have a sizable deposit to put down. That’s the essence of the latest offer from Renault: place a £10,148 deposit and you pay just £94 a month for 25 months for a well-specified Captur.

There’s no interest charged, so at the end of that two-year period you can either hand the car back, using any equity you’ve built up as a deposit on your next car, or pay the £16,595 balloon payment to cover the Renault Captur E-Tech Engineered’s £28,995 list price and become its owner.

This is a great way to get your hands on a new Renault Captur if you have a decent deposit at your disposal, and the Captur in question has a lot going for it. This is an automatic full-hybrid model much like the one that we ran on a long-term test in 2022. The 138bhp electrically-assisted 1.6-litre petrol engine can get it through the 0-62mph sprint in 10.6s, while official fuel economy is around 59mpg (we managed 53mpg on our test).

In terms of equipment, the E-Tech Engineered trim gets you front and rear parking cameras, along with a 9.3-inch portrait touchscreen display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The cabin has leather and suede trim with gold stitching, and the gold theme is continued on the exterior where Renault’s ‘F1 Blade’ front bumper is finished in ‘Warm Titanium’ - which looks a lot like gold to the untrained eye.

One of the top small SUVs on sale in the UK, this Renault Captur looks the part and Renault has raised its game further with this finance offering.

As is always the case with our Deal of the Day selections, this deal was selected by our expert, independent editorial team who are always on the hunt for great deals on cars we like from companies we trust. As with all deals, they’re correct at the time of going to press and may not last long.
