New VW Touareg One Million celebrates production landmark
The special edition model celebrates the production of the one millionth Volkswagen Touareg by adding a range of extra equipment
Volkswagen has announced that the one millionth Touareg has rolled off the production line at its facility in Bratislava, Slovakia. To celebrate the occasion, Volkswagen has produced a special edition Touareg One Million, which adds unique styling features, exclusive badging and a range of extra equipment.
Exterior styling revisions for the special edition Touareg include “One Million” badges for the sills and B-pillars, smoked rear lights, new wheel arch trims, a gloss black diffuser and a unique Sechura Beige paint colour. Buyers also have the choice of either 20-inch “Bogota” or 21-inch “Suzuka” alloy wheels.
Inside, the Touareg One Million features diamond stitched leather upholstery, a retrimmed dashboard and a new leather steering wheel.
Its interior also comes with Volkswagen’s latest 15-inch infotainment system and 12-inch digital instrument binnacle as standard, as well as a host of fresh silver trim and a unique key cover.
For now, the commemorative Volkswagen Touareg One Million is only on sale in Europe, where prices start from €80,880 (around £72,000) for the 282bhp turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 diesel variant. However, Volkswagen is currently assessing the demand for the model in the UK, with further information likely to surface over the coming months.
