NextBase SDV49-AC

Price: £189.99 Style: Dual screen Screen size: 9-inch Contact: (Halfords) 0845 762 6625, www.halfords.com

Recommended: This is an impressive way to watch movies in-car. The Nextbase has all the kit we wanted – headphones, remote control, headrest mount – plus it’s easy to use. The cases holding each screen on to the headrest aren’t as secure as the Philips, but are still easy to fit, and despite its slightly less solid feel, the SDV49-AC is the more expensive choice of our top two. But it’s the one to go for if you have fussy passengers. Kids can either watch individual films or have the same movie playing on both screens, plus you can plug in SD cards and USB sticks.
