Classy-looking Toshiba is nearly twice the price of the Alba, but you get a nine-inch screen and a whole host of features – including the ability to play files from SD cards and memory sticks. There’s also a remote control, case and headphones, plus two headphone sockets. The menus are easy to use, it’s well built and we love the gloss white finish. But you can’t fold the screen like the Logik, and as there’s no mounting system, it’s not as good for in-car use as our Philips champ.
