Straightforward to use and brightly coloured, Fuel Record Mileage Log initially looks appealing, despite random adverts. It all falls down in the data input, though: to display economy in MPG, you need to enter details of your fill-up in gallons. Entering the data in litres means the summaries are shown in litres/100km. It might be a quirk of the way the UK sells fuel, but it’s irritating nonetheless.
