City car in a Twizy

Electric two-seater will have pace similar to a scooter

This is Renault’s take on the city car of tomorrow! Called the Twizy, it gets two seats positioned one behind the other.

It’s aiming to compete with small electric cars such as the G-Wiz.

The Twizy is powered by a 20bhp electric motor, and while that may not sound much, Renault claims its low weight means a top speed of 47mph and acceleration comparable with a 125cc scooter.
