The C5 Tourer offers much more space, but loses none of the handsome styling from the saloon and big price cuts can be found at the brokers.
The C5 Tourer is a real rival for both premium estates from Audi and BMW and mainstream rivals like the Ford Mondeo and VW Passat. It boasts ample bootspace, and understated good looks, and can now be had a price which undercuts all the competition.
Citroen deals
Along similar lines to the saloon, the dealers focus is on pushing fiance packages that spread the payments over a three or four year term. The 'Elect 3' offer gives you the chance to choose how much you want to pay for the initial deposit - but be wary, as opting for the minimum 10% deposit will bump up your monthly payments.
The other option is to go for an interest free arrangement - the 30% deposit is non-negotiable, (e.g. £7,438 for the 2.0HDi 160bhp VTR+ Auto NAV) but there is 0% APR typical and the repayments are spread over four years.
Marketplace deals
The brokers are still showing the dealers the way, with big disounts on all engines and trim levels. The best deal we found was this 2.0HDi VTR+, well equipped and coming with an intergrated sat-nav - now with £5,474 off.
