Buyers kitted up on sold-out M3

It’s not even in dealers yet, but the new BMW M3 has sold out. Buyers have snapped up the 700 allocated for UK showrooms this year. And the lucky owners have specified options which add an average £4,700 to each model.

Topping the list of extras are 19-inch alloys and a DAB digital radio. BMW expects to sell 2,000 M3s a year.
