Three LEDs give a smooth, bright beam with a useful spread and no dark patches, but there’s no energy-saving one-burner option. It lasted 30 minutes after 60 seconds of easy winding, but had to give best to the similar, but cheaper Halfords. It fits easily in your hand and the flat underside means it balances well on uneven surfaces.
