Linglong Sport Master Winter HP review
The Linglong offers pretty good cabin refinement, but that's about it

In our last winter tyre test the Linglong was an impressive newcomer, but a year on it’s struggling to break into the mid-field. Of the three surfaces, it was at its best on snow, marrying decent braking – ninth, but less than one metre off the best – with a strongseventh in the acceleration test and an impressive sixth around the snow lap.
On the circuit it was uncomplicated, with good front-end bite and a stable rear. It was fine in the dry, too – ninth in the braking test but less than two metres off the top tyres, backed up by sixth around the handling circuit, where it was effective but quite loose.
In the crucial wet-braking test it stopped in a respectable 35m, two metres shy of the best, and was ranked eighth around the wet- handling circuit, some three seconds off the pace. It offered some agility but needed a moment to settle into turns. It was a long way adrift of the mid-field in aquaplaning, especially in the curved test.
Decent cabin refinement bagged it equal second, its only podium position, but it was 11th and last in rolling resistance, making it the least economical tyre here.
Blackcircles.com says…
“Not a lot of money gets you not a lot of ability, and the Linglong offering is a prime example. Even the economy is poor.”
