Vauxhall Corsa and Mokka ranges revised with new trim levels for 2022

The new-look line-up for the Vauxhall Corsa and Vauxhall Mokka is claimed to offer better value than before

Revisions to the Vauxhall Corsa and Mokka line-ups have been announced for 2022, with a simpler trim structure revealed for both models.

The Corsa – Britain’s best-selling car in 2021 – is now offered in three trim levels instead of four, while the new Mokka range shares the same three-trim structure as its supermini sibling.

Design replaces SE Edition as the entry-level grade for both cars. It’s priced from £17,340 for the Corsa and £22,265 for the Mokka, with the same level of standard equipment as the previously offered entry-level model, including a seven-inch touchscreen, and cruise control on the Mokka.

The Mokka Design is also offered with new engine options - a 1.2-litre turbocharged three-cylinder engine developing 128bhp is available with a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic gearbox.

GS Line is the new sporty variant, taking the place of SRi Line, but with some slight tweaks. Vauxhall claims a drop in price of £1,000 across the GS Line range compared with the old trim. The Corsa GS Line starts with a new 74bhp 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine, priced from £19,490.

The Mokka GS Line costs from £24,640 and includes the car’s flagship infotainment package - the ‘Pure Panel’ set-up - consisting of a 10-inch digital instrument panel and a 12-inch main touchscreen screen. The starting price is £1,500 lower than the SRi Line Mokka that was offered previously.

Ultimate remains the top trim-level and specs are unchanged for both models. However, it represents better value than its predecessor because the price has dropped to £23,375 for the Corsa Ultimate.

Standard equipment in the top-level version of the supermini includes adaptive cruise control with lane positioning assistance, IntelliLux adaptive LED headlights, front parking sensors, a rear parking camera and heated seats with Alcantara trim, plus a heated steering wheel.

Meanwhile, the Mokka Ultimate is priced from £28,825 and is available with a new 128bhp three-cylinder petrol engine paired with a six-speed manual gearbox. Alcantara upholstery is also offered inside.

Pure-electric versions of both the Corsa and Mokke remain on sale, but in fewer trims than before. The Corsa-e line-up starts from £27,055 in GS Line trim, capable of 222 miles on a full charge, and all models are also upgraded with the toggle-shift drive selector already used on the Mokka.
