Audi A6 and A7 updated with new look and extra equipment

Subtle updates for Audi A6 and A7 will add extra kit and a new look, plus Android Auto and Apple CarPlay

Audi has announced a round of updates for the A6 and A7 ranges, including added equipment and a few exterior and interior changes. Better still, there's no increase in the price of either car.

The A6's facelift adds new styling details around the air inlets at the front, plus more angular styling for the sills and rear bumper. There's a new diffuser on the back too, and S line models get a new grille painted in black with chrome slats. There's chrome for some of the side air inlets as well, and two new wheel designs.

The A7 gets three new alloy wheel styles and three new body colours. One, Java Brown, was previously exclusive to the A6 Allroad while the other two are bright new shades: Matador red and Gotland green.

Inside both facelifted models are new LED ambient lights, with optional silver or grey inlays that can also be fitted in bronze on the A6 Allroad model.

The new optional kit list starts with a connectivity system that adds Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone connectivity, plus wireless charging for your mobile phone. In the back seats you can order two tablet computers that connect to the car, and can be taken outside of it too.

There's a new Advanced package available for the Audi A6 Allroad too, which adds a new brown and grey paint scheme, 20-inch alloy wheels, Valcona leather sports seats, velour floor mats and brown upholstery with silver stitching.
