McLaren MP4-12C

Get ready for the stunning 200mph V8 MP4-12C with the performance to worry Ferrari's 458 and Merc's SLS

McLaren MP4-12C

Yours for £169,550! The first all-new McLaren road car for more than a decade goes on sale in spring, with dealers hoping to shift around 1,000 of them globally by Christmas next year.

The MP4-12C needs little in the way of marketing, but sales staff will be promoting the fact it’s the only car in its class that’s been conceived, designed and developed in a Formula One factory.

It’s also the only one to be built around a completely carbon chassis. Power comes from a 600bhp 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8, but it’s not just the engine that’s special; everything down to the switchgear will be unique to the car.
