The Moving Motor Show

With 2010's event a success, this year should be bigger and better

The Moving Motor Show

Last year’s inaugural event took place on the Thursday before the Goodwood Festival Of Speed, and it was voted a resounding success, so it’s happening again, on 30 June. Stands from mainstream and niche manufacturers will be highlighting their latest products, and you can expect some debuts too; don’t forget, this is where the McLaren MP4-12C took its first public bow.

As the name implies, this isn’t a static ‘cars on carpets’ event. Some visitors will get to drive around the historic Goodwood estate and even up the hillclimb course. Is this the future for car events in the UK? Quite possibly, as firms seem keen to back it in a way they wouldn’t for the British Motor Show.

See www.goodwood.co.uk for tickets.
