MG returns

Famous British brand revived with launch of new MG6 hatchback

MG returns

A new chapter in the MG story opens in 2011 with the March launch of the MG6 – the first new model since the brand fell under Chinese ownership.

As reported in Issue 1,145, what’s likely to be the last batch of TF roadsters to roll out of the Longbridge plant has already been shipped to dealers, marking the end of its 15-year existence. Production of the MG6 hatch has already started, a saloon will follow and further models are in the pipeline. These could include the new MG3 supermini, based on the Zero concept.
