Three-car garage: hot Audi RS 3, SQ7 and e-tron GT for £91,000
Audi is known for nailing the everyday supercar recipe, but what if you could put together a perfect three-car line-up for less than a new 630bhp RS 5?

One of the great accolades of Audi’s high-end RS models has always been the ability to be everything to every sort of driver. Need a practical estate car in the week? Done. What about a speedy number for weekend blasts? No problem. And the new plug-in hybrid Audi RS 5 has an extra string in its bow, thanks to its ability to cruise around in electric mode for up to 50 miles.
But what if you could get three different Audi models to cover each of these roles without any compromise, and all for the same price as that new RS 5? That’s exactly what we’ve found by looking into Audi’s back catalogue, and each of them is available on our Buy a Car service.
Audi e-tron GT - £33,000

Without the need to shift kids around, the electric portion of our three-car garage could easily be filled by one of the most underrated models in Audi’s history: the e-tron GT.
This sleek battery-powered four-door took its underpinnings from the Porsche Taycan, but gave it a significantly more relaxed and comfortable feel. This is a superb car to drive, both in town and out on larger roads, plus comes with low running costs – especially if charged at home.
This quattro model doesn’t quite have the out-and-out performance of the RS model, but then its energy usage is lower, giving it a longer range at a touch more than 300 miles. It’s also still spacious enough to squeeze the kids in, if needed, and it looks great.

Audi RS 3 - £28,000

So we’ve got an EV for calm, speedy and cost-efficient commutes, and as we’ll see, a spacious car to move the kids, but what about a weekend blast on your favourite roads?
Well, the fun portion of our trio is provided by the Audi RS 3. This hyper-hatchback produces a colossal 394bhp – the same as the current model musters – and it does so without the restrictive exhaust system required for today’s version, so it sounds better than the model in showrooms today, and is more responsive.
And while this generation doesn’t drive quite as sweetly as the latest model, it does have a far nicer interior design and higher quality materials. It’s also a more subtle-looking car, and comes with enough luggage space to ensure the last of those imaginary kids can still come along too.

Audi SQ7 - £30,495

Seven-seat family cars are rarely able to elicit much excitement from their users, but Audi hit the nail on the head in 2018 with its superb SQ7 TDI.
It looks a little underwhelming, but under the crisp skin this flagship Q7 model featured an incredible 4.0-litre V8 diesel with twin turbochargers and a 48-volt mild-hybrid system.
This set-up didn’t just help with efficiency, but it also spun up a tiny electric supercharger, making the whole engine feel even more powerful and responsive. It’ll also top 35mpg, and thanks to a clever resonator box in the exhaust, sounds just as good as any V8 engine that drinks from the green pump.
If you’ve missed this Audi SQ7 deal then fear not as there’re several Audi SQ7's available through our Buy A Car service…
