Prices for Chery's seven-seater Tiggo 8 SUV remain amazingly affordable, with deals as low as £235 a month available through the Auto Express Buy A Car service.
This three-year deal from DreamLease requires a £3,054.31 initial payment to get it under way. This is a 12-month sum; you could save a nice £500 by opting for a nine-month initial payment, with monthly bills rising to a still-very-decent £257.48.
This deal comes with a default annual mileage cap of 5,000, but raising the limit is still very affordable. Bumping it up to 8,000 costs just less £15 extra a month on both nine and 12-month initial payment plans.
The Tiggo 8 is a practical seven-seater; the seats in the middle row offer very generous space, while the two rearmost seats are ideal for children or adults on long journeys.
Seven seats and plug-in hybrid power rarely go together at this price point, but again the Tiggo 8 impresses. It uses a 1.5-litre petrol engine paired with an electric motor and an 18.3kWh battery pack, giving a claimed 56 miles of EV running. Combined petrol-electric range stands at a very impressive 745 miles.
The Tiggo 8 is a smart-looking SUV inside and out, and it's a comfortable and easy car to drive. For those who need space and low running costs on a budget, you'd be hard pushed to beat this deal.
