Nissan NV300 and NV400 vans receive new engines and updated tech for 2019
Nissan fits new powertrains to mid-size NV300 and full-size NV400 with pricing from £21,655
The Nissan NV400 full-size van has been updated with a new 2.3-litre diesel engine, while the smaller NV300 now features a new Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) and more powerful engines.
The 2.3-litre diesel, available in three states of tune, has been adopted from the Nissan Navara pickup. The 150bhp and 180bhp versions can be had with a manual or automatic transmission, but the 135bhp is manual only. The smaller NV300 has gained a new 2.0-litre diesel engine with 170bhp or 145bhp - both can be had with the new DCT gearbox.
It’s not just the powertrains that have been updated for Nissan’s van lineup, the interiors have undergone a refresh and the infotainment system’s interface has been redesigned. Nissan has also focused on improving the NV400’s interior storage, featuring a new pull-out tray.
Pricing for the NV300 starts from £21,655 and £24,390 for the full-size NV400.
