The previous generation Ford Kuga was heavily praised for the way it drove. It felt a lot like a Focus, with direct, responsive steering and a well planted chassis.
However, it was always regarded as slightly impractical due to its cramped rear and compromised boot space. However, the all-new Kuga aims to rectify this, with more rear legroom and a bigger load area.
But is it as good to drive? It is available with two petrol and two diesel engines, and the choice of two and four-wheel drive. The high-powered diesel is the pick of the range, managing more than 45mpg from its all-wheel-drive drivetrain.
