Car Deal of the Day: Alfa Romeo Junior is la dolce vita for just £193 a month

An Alfa Romeo for under £200 a month? It's a dream that can become a reality through the Auto Express Buy A Car Service – but hurry as this deal won't be around for long.
Pink Car Leasing frequently offers the Alfa Romeo Junior at a tempting price, but this is the first time we've seen monthly payments edge beneath the £200 mark.
This deal is for three years and comes in at just £193.80 a month, placing the Alfa on an equal footing with other small SUVs with less glamorous badges on their noses. Alternatively, you can opt for two years for free, with no changes to the initial payment or monthly price.
Speaking of the initial payment, it's a 12-month sum and comes to a very reasonable £2,524.60. Switching to a nine-month initial payment will see you saving £438 upfront, with the monthly payment rising to £209.71. But it's worth noting that if you go for the nine-month option and change to a two-year agreement, it will cost an extra £7.33 a month.
Mileage, meanwhile, is capped at 5,000 a year, while raising to 8,000 costs between £15 and £18 a month depending on which initial payment you choose.
The Junior is the only Alfa Romeo to come in pure-electric and hybrid forms, with this deal getting you the latter.
The Ibrida (which is Italian for 'hybrid') pairs a 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine with a 28bhp electric motor and a 0.9kWh 48-volt battery. Total power comes to 143bhp and that petrol-electric set-up nets a claimed fuel economy of nearly 60mpg.
Given that Alfa Romeo likes to see itself as a premium brand with plenty of sporting flair, equipment levels are good. This base-spec model gets typically Alfa-styled 18-inch alloys, a pair of 10.25-inch displays, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and automatic climate control.
