Vauxhall Cascada - £5k-£8k: Best cheap convertibles

Vauxhall has a history of producing convertibles for the masses, with drop top Astras being sold since the eighties. Since then, the affordable convertible baton has been picked up by the Cascada, although under the skin it’s largely the same as the previous Astra.
The change in name bumped up prices, but sharp depreciation means a used Cascada is great value. And as it is only sold in SE and Elite trim, the Cascada is well equipped, with reasonable space for two in the rear.
