Outrageous LUMMA custom bodykit for Mercedes GLE Coupe

LUMMA design creates the CLR G 800, a wide-body Mercedes GLE with a bespoke cabin and 640bhp

Mercedes GLE bodykit

The new Mercedes GLE AMG 63 coupe is far from subtle as standard, but its just got even more outlandish thanks to a range of bodykit and power tuning options from LUMMA design. The upgrades will be shown at this year's Frankfurt Motor Show

The carbon bodykit for the BMW X6M rival features large air intakes on the front wings, a new front bumper, beefier side skirts and massively flared wheelarches. The wide-body kit adds around 50mm to each side of the SUV and also features a carbon hood, new rear bumper and diffuser and a rear spoiler.

A bespoke interior will also set the LUMMA car apart from the standard model, featuring a mix of wood, leather, and carbon fibre. LUMMA has also teamed up with Dutch tyre manufacturer Vredestein to produce 24-inch tyres and accompanying alloys.

A performance package is also in the works, designed for the GLE 63 AMG S model. The 5.5-litre twin-turbo V8 from the standard model has been tuned to produce around 640bhp, up from 577bhp. That should shave time off the already-impressive 4.2-second 0-62mph time of the standard car.

The upgrades are set to be revealed at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show, with a full release of the LUMMA CLR G 800 before next year’s Geneva Motor Show in March. As is the way with this type of customisation, the sky will be the limit in terms of pricing as owners can pick and choose what they want.
