Peugeot celebrates 200th with N24 entry

How about this for an alternative birthday present – Peugeot will enter two new RCZ diesels in the N24 which kicks off on May 15th. The cars will feature the race numbers 200 and 201 in honour of the firm’s 200th birthday which it celebrates this year.

The cars feature the 2.0-litre HDi diesel unit which develops 200bhp. Peugeot has elected to enter near-standard RCZs, with a small number of parts being added from the Peugeot Sport client motor racing range.

Car 200 will be driven by a team of four French drivers, including Jean-Philippe Peugeot, the Vice-president of the PSA Group's Supervisory Board, while the 201 RCZ will be piloted by four German drivers.
