A great price for the Maplin, considering you get a nine-inch screen. But while performance was decent, this unit trailed the best in terms of sound and picture quality. And although it comes loaded with kit – in-car and mains chargers, remote control and stand – build quality wasn’t great. Add in the fact that it’s difficult to use, and it couldn’t challenge any of our top three.
