We tested a prototype of this bag, and it’s definitely a low-cost way to transport your skis without a roof rack. But you have to work harder – it attaches to the roof by looping straps around the door and boot hinges, which is time-consuming and messy if the hinges are greasy. You also have to secure the skis in the bag, but there is room for other luggage.
