This is the same size as the TomTom but doesn’t feel as premium and is slightly more cluttered. Garmin’s junction guidance and lane assist was the best in the test, and it showed the distance and length of upcoming traffic jams on our route with precision. It also provided a good alternative route to a section of our drive with heavy traffic. But the GO6100 also displayed traffic jams in the surrounding area, giving us a better view of the overall situation. Smartphone users will find uploading and sharing new locations via Foursquare an additional plus. Comes with lifetime European maps and traffic alerts, but after a year you pay for speed camera updates.
