Scout

Scout
Overall Auto Express rating

4.0

Price: Free | Available on: iOS, Android | Maps: Offline

Former favourite Skobbler has a new name, yet the Scout branding hasn’t taken anything away from an excellent sat-nav app. The basic free version isn’t too restricting in daily use, but the best-value upgrade bundle – £14.99 for all maps, plus quality INRIX traffic and speed camera data – takes the cost into TomTom and CoPilot Premium territory. And as polished as Scout is, it’s not quite in the GO’s league, with a few bugs that spoiled the experience.
