“I've lost around eight days due to problems which required the car to be returned to the dealer. In spite of that, I have been pleased with my X-Type overall.”

“A good corporate vehicle that does high mileage with ease.”

Dave Hare - London

“Comfortable, reliable family car with a few luxurious extras and the Jaguar badge. Like most X-Type owners, I suspect, I'd really like to drive an XJ, but can't afford one!”

Mr Graham King - '

“Not quite as expected, but still okay.”

Mr John Eggett - West Yorkshire

“It is the best car I have ever owned. It is quality and refined. The noise it makes under hard accelaration is brilliant. It really sounds like a performance saloon. I'd rather have a Jaguar than a Mercedes, Audi or BMW any day.”

Mr Douglas Warren - Chelmsford

“Okay but not as good as expected from the brand.”

Mr Robert Dakin - Notts

Mr Michael Laraway - Lancashire

“On reading reports on the car by motoring experts,I was not to keen on replacing an X-Type for my XJ8 Sport, but after a test drive it overcame my reluctance to buy one. My son bought one as well after owning Volvo,Audi,BMW,and Maxda, saying the X-Type brought back joy to driving.”

Mr Edward Emmerson - North Riding Of Yorkshire

“It is the fulfillment of a lifetime dream and has not disappointed me in any way.”

Mr Paul Mackness - Herts

“Affordable luxury with all you should expect from Jaguar.”

Mr Paul Whitaker - Warks

“Superb car, better than the German offerings as a complete package, and the service dept is polite, clean and friendly.”

Mr Glynn Olive - Preston

Manufacturer Verdict (Position - 9th)

Smoothly does it! Although Citroen’'s C5 topped the ride quality chart, Jaguar takes the overall honours in the category with its range of luxurious models gliding over rough roads and potholes. Maintaining a top 10 position, the Ford-owned firm has a lot of satisfied customers. As more examples of the new XK appear, along with the S-Type replacing XF, Jag will be hoping for even better in 2008.
