Universal Seat Belt Restraint

This restraint plugs straight into the seatbelt points.

Universal Seat Belt Restraint
Overall Auto Express rating

3.0

Best price: £5

This restraint plugs straight into the seatbelt points, eliminating the need to run the belt through the harness, as you have to with the other products tested here. Even so, you’ll still need to use a harness – you can’t clip it straight on to a dog’s collar – but it could be ideal if your dog’s harness does not have a seatbelt attachment. It comes with three types of seatbelt attachment, so it should fit most cars.
