British tin-top ace James Thompson is continuing his search for a race seat in this season’s British Touring Car Championship, which blasts back into action in April.

TheYorkshire-based driver has tested a BMW 3-Series for the Motorbaseoutfit, following recent evaluations for Team Dynamics and the newTempus Chevrolet squad.

Since 2005, the two-time BTCC titleholder has been competing in the World Touring Car Championship,netting four wins. However, he was forced to abandon the world stageafter his N. Technology outfit was unable to secure financial backingfrom Honda to run its Accord again during the 2009 WTCC campaign.
