Veteran racer John George has confirmed he will race in the BTCC this season.

The Jersey-based drivermakes a welcome return after his 2008 campaign ended with a spectacularcrash in the final round at Brands Hatch, which left him inhospital. Now back to full fitness, George, 47, will contest theIndependents’ Cup in his privately run Honda Integra.
